New Lian- Li PC-A10B

It looks very 1980's server.

Not sure on the looks, as WJA96 says for a Lian Li it has an awful lot of features.

Hope my prediction of the S80 being the pinnacle was wrong. Will have to see when it is released.

I know a certain person who bought an Ammo who would appreciate that USB on the top :p

I love the looks, however I can already see some potential problems. First, it looks likely to suffer from the same problem as the p180 in terms of cable length. Secondly, if the rear harddrive cage(Im assuming thats a harddrive cage on its side behind the main one) holds the harddrives sideways, surely this will greatly impede the airflow from front to back in the bottom chamber. Thirdly, Why two spaces for PSUs? I hope they supply a replacement plate if you only want 1. Fourthly, I'll cut my own watercooling holes thank you very much,no need for a single 120 hole there.(Unless its used as a standard blowhole, then maybe fair enough) And finally... a fan controler.. ok, no need for that either thanks.

yeah dont see the point in creating a case that will obviously mainly be sold to enthusiasts with an inbuilt 2 fan controller; 95% of people will want their own fan/temp monitoring unit anyway.

otherwise it looks very samey to the P180.

The fan controller has been standard on a few mainstream Lian Li cases, PC-60, PC-70 etc. simple & unobtrusive 3 position switch.
Useful if you don't need a seperate controller, un-noticable if you do.

So Gibbo.... when are you getting these in stock?

I hope they are not expensive...

The S80 is what, £175 inc VAT at most places? I'd budget for this case being similar on the price front.

***edit***

Actually, probably more expensive.

I hope its less...

It is not double layered and does not have the fancy hump at the back like the S80.

I can't see it being a whole lot more than the V1000 series was when it first came out.
I would make a guess at about £150 :)

Both mine were £180 new, £179.99 each.

Your going by the several month in price there. :) (nitpicking :()

I've asked a couple of mates who work for OCUK competitors to find out if/when they are getting the A10s in. Will let you all know if I hear anything semi-concrete.

hmm got any pics of the front with the door open? :)

please

i wonder if they will do a doorless version of this case? :)
