Q1 '07 is all I'm getting out of people for the A10 to arrive in the UK right now. Not all that impressed with Lian Li about that - the US market has the case now, why the hell are we waiting until January (and maybe longer, Q1 doesn't have to be the first month)?

Bumping with something approaching 'news'....

An OCUK competitor has got this case on their site now, no price yet but they claim that "as soon as we have an allocation available we will take pre-orders on the website. Pricing and ETA will follow very soon."

Now, "very soon" in my book means that they should have info next week. However, I can see "very soon" in this case meaning "Christmas 2009" with the sheer lack of info I'm getting from retailers regarding this case and the UK/Europe market....

I know one place who will have them 1st week Nov. for 151 quid. They also sell the ATX extension cable and 8pin EPS extension cable so I should be sorted. Think I will change my Akasa for this.

Seen a couple of reviews and I really like it.
I noticed the intake is on the top, and 2 rear outtakes. I suppose you could mount a scythe katana in 3 of the 5.25" bays with a Scythe 1000rpm fan if you wanted additional airflow onto the gpu's.

This does look like a goodie. I like the looks, the sensible features and the price is almost realistic (for a Lian-Li).

I may just have to get one in.

The fan controller is on top 2 and can control 2 of the 4 fans.
And they appear to be going with the traditional rear fans blowing out this time.

Hope it ships with a spare psu cover, cause if they don't doesnt that mean dust will get sucked into the back of the case ?

ohhhh...I am tempted to pre order (If they can be trusted with the date)... but I think I will wait a little bit and see if OcUK will get them in.

Sorry to dig this up, but i've been looking at this case and the more i look the more i like.

However i can't work out how the dual psu design works. If you wanted to use dual psus with a 120mm fan where would the fans draw air from? There doesn't seem to be a grill on the sidepanel...

I was looking at a p180 but i think i prefer this.

Edit: I don't like the airflow design much, having the top fan blowing in seems a little strange considering heat rises... it would work very well ducted over a ninja or something though.

I am going to have a look at what you said about the psu.. interesting question...

You can change the airflow design on top by flipping the fans over....

I've been taking a careful look at the pics and i can't see any way you could use a 120mm fan psu. It has to face outwards because thats the way the holes are, and there seems to be a very small gap between it and the sidepanel and no grill.

My only issue with this case is it does look a little fridge like, but i don't think i mind. :p

:p

I agree. A bit worrying. However does it really matter. The only hot air the psu will have to deal with is what is coming from your hard drive which is being actively cooled. I am more concerned about the fact a spare psu rear placeholder does not come with the case, so if you only use 1 psu like most people you will have this great big hole in the back where noise can escape from. Maybe the idea of putting the psu fan facing the inside panel was to ensure it would not draw in dust from the outside if you were allowed reverse it and only using 1 psu.

The air flow design is a bit weird too, having the top fan blow air down which is being exhausted immediatly by the rear fan. And the gpu fan I suppose has to suck air in through the vent holes on the front of the case.

It does matter because airflow into the psu is impaired. Its only got about 30mm between the fan and the sidepanel, and thats not good for psu airflow. Perhaps the pictures are misleading and there is more space.

If you only use one psu you cannot turn it to face the other way because the psu mounting system (on this and every case) is designed in such a way that if you try to put it in upside down or facing the other way in this case you can't.

Not too bothered about the hole at the back, it would be very easy to cut some metal and make a blanking plate for it.

It does seem very un Lian-Li to have such a poor psu mounting design and no blanking plate. I mean i like the idea of dual psus but not facing the side panel.

I would turn the top fan around to exhaust air and either have the card cooler fan or rear fan blowing in.

Not sure where people are getting this "no blanking plate" idea from....
