New N95

Maybe, MG4. I paid £150 for the N95 on a £35 p/m (12 month contract mind) the day it came out, I would suspect it will be a similar price to the 8Gb on release.

Ouch, £430 for a phone !!!

Its around the same price as the N95 when it came out I think, watch the price plummet after a month or so!

Three do 1gb internet usage for £5 per month. Their PAYG deal is even better. 2GB for £5 per month.

Ive probably asked this before, but is the battery life any different with this new 8Gb model? Or is it literally just more memory?

Yes there is a higher capacity battery in this, not sure if anyone has reviewed how much longer it lasts tho. Basically this is the phone the N95 should have been, it does feel now a bit like the N95 was a beta phone.

I wonder how much higher it is?
If the GUI is pretty stable, and it has battery life comparible to a normal phone, i might consider it over the SE W960i.

Both of them are 2GB, its enforced by a Fair Use Policy (i.e. at 2GB, your internet stops if you are deemed to be abusing it) - although for the contracts, they only advertise 1GB...

It has 30% more capacity, but have no idea how much longer it will last - on the US version it made a big difference, however this has a bigger screen, will have to wait for the reviews.

edit: (Not an overwhelming improvement actually)

The BL-6F will actually fit in the N95, but its a VERY tight fit but you won't be able to get the back cover back on.........with the extra capacity I'd expect it to last 3 days instead of 2.

Poopscoop found this - http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/news/item/6105_Unboxing_the_Nokia_N95_8GB.php, the multitasking looks amaazing.

(The blue circles are open programmes) and with all those open apparently there were still 50Mb free RAM.

- camera software much faster, shot to shot times at 5 megapixels around 3 seconds. Camera startup still around 3 seconds though

£150 on Voda's £35 a month plan. Is this likely to go down?

I replied to this in your thread;) By Feb it will definitely fall in price. The original N95 dropped in price after a month I think.
