New Netflix Series - The Umbrella Academy

So for those who volunteered there time already, should I watch this? S3 was such as disappointment compared to the energy of season 1 and 2.

Might as well, it's 6 episodes and gives a conclusion. I really enjoyed the last episode, albeit flawed but it was definitely the best of the bunch.

This show started out so good, weird, but a good weird. As most shows these days, it got weaker and weaker as the seasons progressed.

Ending makes sense, although not a happy ending for our 'heroes', balance was restored.

I'm going to have to google the squid reference and marigolds in the after clip.

Yeah didn't hate it but it was a whimper compared to season 1 and leant too heavily on memes and popular moments in video games and movies, etc. easy watch as said above but nothing special.

There was a lot of plot holes imo and ended too conveniently and made the entire story pointless imo. At least we didn't see Morgan haha :D

I couldn't make it through last season it was so much worse than first 2. I would like a conclusion though. Can I skip to end? :)

Just got through season 1 and struggled by the end, the obviousness of the plot had all the sophistication of a toddlers paint by numbers and so felt unnecessarily clumsy and awkward in some of the character arcs that it just breaks things too much..

I might start S2 and see if I can get over that.. the Mrs claims it's worth hanging in there.

You may as well. They just made up the cause and solution of 4 seasons worth of problems in the last 30mins.

Really weak ending that was done 10x better in Dark and Legion.

Talking Heads song over the montage at the end was nice though. Gave a sense of nostalgia over something I didn't care too much about. Bet that sequence means the world to the cast.
