New NFL Season 2011

Anyone still following this season's NFL?

I've been watching as much of this season as I can. I'm a big Ravens fan (use to live near Baltimore around 12 years ago). I'm very pleased they made 2nd seed for AFC and to avoid the wildcard games!

So what are people's thoughts so far on the season?
Who do you think will get to Superbowl?
Who's gonna win Superbowl?

Personally I think there have been some great games this season, I think the Packers have just been unstoppable (apart from their blip against the Chiefs). The Patriots & Saints are also on a role so anyone of those 3 I think will be in the final.

I would really like a Ravens - Packers final being bias and all. Honestly if the Ravens play as well as they can there is nothing to say they can't get to the final - however assuming they get to the Semi-final, I think the Patriots offence may just be too strong.

Heart says Ravens to win Superbowl :D, head says Packers.

Wildcard games are being played this weekend:

Saturday 7th January:

Houtan Texans vs Cincinnati Bengals (Texans to win)
New Orleans Saints vs Detriot Lions (Saints to win)

Sunday 8th January:

New York Giants vs Atlanta Falcons (tough one but Giants to win)
Denver Broncos vs Pittsburgh Steelers (would love Broncos to win this one, but Steelers will be too strong)

So how do you think your team has faired this season? If your team has not made the wildcard games/playoffs who will you be behind now?

Andrew

I've been watching a few games, and I caught the Falcons vs Giants game on Sunday, was a great game to watch.

Not supporting anyone in particular, just looking forward to the Superbowl :).

as a bears fan im just happy martz is out for next year. greatest show on turf my buttcheeks.

but now on to the BAFANL where the Titans should be getting promoted come the end of the year :D

Happy to see the NY Giants make it through to the next round but they have the Packers to beat next...thats going to be a tough one for the Giants as i dont think they will beat the Packers...Packers looking good for another Superbowl appearance too.

Shocked that the Steelers were dumped out by the Bronco's, that was a good game to watch i admit.

Fingers crossed that the Giants can somehow beat the Packers but i cant see it...funny thing is a few yrs ago i didnt think the Giants would win the Superbowl but they managed to do it so anything could happen. Would absolutely love it if the Giants beat the Packers...

Been a great season so far and looking forward to this weekend's Divisional games.

Patriots will be to strong for Tebow, Packers to romp home against the Giants, Ravens to edge the Texans and too close to call between Saints/49ers but maybe the Saints edging it but only just.

Pats v Packers Superbowl would be awesome!

I'm tempted to buy it seeing that you can watch the all the games at later time, you and even watch the games from pre-season up until now. The only issue i have does not include playoffs...

Me, my brother and a friend have bought GamePass for about 3 or 4 straight years now. The quality is amazing. I now have a 50", which we run 4 GamePass games, split screen and a 40" next to it with the SkySports game on -

It can actually get a little hard to keep track of what's going on, but it does mean we can always see out own team play. GamePass doesn't have the playoffs, I think because Sky has the rights. GamePass also can't show whatever game Sky are showing.

It's also very useful for Monday and Tuesday mornings, catching up on the late night games. With the mobile app, if you're lucky and it works, you can sit and watch the previous nights game while on the bike at the gym! The 'condensed' game is a great feature too. Watch a match whistle to whistle, full game in 30 minutes.

I've been lucky that I've seen 3 NFL games this year, the Wembley game, the 49ers beat the Cards at home and the amazing game where the Broncos beat the Chargers late in overtime.

I have to admit, I've not been a believer in the 49ers all year and I thought the Saints would show them up last night, but all credit to the 49ers, they 'held on' in one of the great playoff game finishes of all time.

Just in the second half of the Pats game now, how could anyone bet against them making the Superbowl and perhaps winning it all again.

Giants v Packers will be a great game, when will Eli crumble? Giants to knock of the Pats in the final, once again?

Got to be honest, the Ravens v Texans doesn't interest me much :( I think the Ravens will win though.

As a Redskins fan, I'm looking forward to April and the draft. RG3 or perhaps Matt Flynn could well make us a contender next year.

Well that was absolutely shocking. Hopefully we can sort ourselves out and come up with a proper D for next season.

I'd like to see the 49ers go and win it now, especially after Saturdays performance. That was pretty special.

The hail mary to end the half was pretty genius to be fair. I think everyone and his dog (and more importantly the Packers D) was expecting a quick pass to the sideline. The Giants had more players waiting for that ball to come down than the Packers...

I have a funny feeling the Giants might win it all now. I still don't buy in to the 49ers :-/ The Pats would be the safe bet though.

I still think letting something like that go is pretty bad for the number 1 seed. We had at least 2 guys around the receiver that could have patted it down but our coverage was, as usual, terrible. But what I was worried about all season happened last night. All it would take for us to lose was for the offence to have an off day against a strong opponent. The D just cannot be relied upon and that is exactly what happened.

Woohooo Giants...awesome win by the guys...i wouldnt be surprised if they go on to win the SB, they did it a few yrs ago when people wrote them off but went on to beat the Pats:p:D.

Loved the win by the Giants.
