New North Korea pics

Very nice pictures thanks.

Clearly they look like a country that is in need of being invaded.

they got enough artillery so well dug in that it could completely obliterate Seoul before you could even start bombing it let alone destroy it.

And even then they got nukes and a nutter in charge who i doubt would think twice about letting invaders take a city before setting of a preplaced bomb.

i remember reading about the cruise ship in the telegraph a few weeks ago but there wasn't many photos, good to see the photo's have clarified it being as bizarre as i thought it would be!

Cheers for the link OP.

I simple cannot handle Kim Jong-il. It makes me so sad. Meh. What we're seeing there, largely, is a little bit of special 'economic zone' presentation. One of the final images, of the concrete nightmarish looking high-rise Pyongyang nightmare, to think, you'd be extremely lucky if you were to live there. Not so far away (and for a long long way) you're lucky enough not to see your children starve.

The quicker that old **** dies and some way of dismantling his legacy presents itself the better.

Funny how people see fit to pass judgement over NK when all they get is OUR propaganda, selectively shown to us.

We have NO idea of what it is really like there, apart from a few tid bits every now and again. How about looking back to WWII when you had pictures of Gorillas in Nazi helmets with blood all over their hands depicting the Germans ..... acurate portrayal?

Before anyone casts judgement, be aware you are making your assertions based on hand selected information. Do you think these 'amazing' photos were taken by a completely objective photographer?

Imagine if you took some photos of London in flames last month, and then some glasgow council estates, and finally some pictures of the Army torturing innnocent Afgan/Iraqi prisoners and used that to portray the UK - We'd be up in arms eh.

What point are you trying to actually make?
