Sad day but the attack on the backend was pretty severe and it looked like we have got everything but poor support from GTX and there only resolution was to wipe the server :/
If we had access to the box we could probabaly have fixed it .

Epoch is the reason we sought out an admin tool, it really is needed because doing everything in the database takes up enough time even if you're quick at it and it really helps to catch teleporters aswell as griefers in trade zones. The draw back is when you use the map tool it makes me not want to play as I know where some people are.. even if its people I helped out in the trade city so I often just logout for a few hours.. then have to login again to help someone.
Every 5th minute you get !admin and someone needs help! - Enjoy it though still and slowly getting some base attack footage together on the times I do play

this is why when standalone is out and all simplified it will make a better experience all round
no admin abusing tools and no need to spend all the time doing stuff as it will be sorted more or less for you.

Well normal DayZ you can pretty much just sit back and play without issues, but Epoch is a royal pain in the back side for admins. When ours first went up we were spending hours helping people lol (not players fault, just the bugs and the safe zones etc)

Arma/DayZ basically went... you can have all this money in this here super safe vault if you can secure it yourself but we've given everyone who's over the age of 7 access to it. You're welcome.

As Persil said, we haven't even got RDP access to try and sort something out ourselves, so purely in the hands of GTX who don't seem to be doing much apart from suggesting a fresh Windows Server install

FR129 is pretty good.
Can not repeat this enough. DO NOT GO NEAR THEM. God damn, I have been enjoying cherno warfare for the last 2 weeks (Mk48 only - man style) and this it would seem, is going to reduce the fun levels :/

How are the zombies more lethal now? Do they run faster than you? Do they run in buildings now? Looking forward to having a go tonight assuming its on steam!
They knock you over quite often, and there seems to be more of them in buildings.
