I agree if you want to play properly but I'll leave that for standalone if it's any good. I like going on and messing about in choppers, particularly crashing them into people.

INSANE!!
Not a server to play properly, I'm talking of helicopters falling out of the sky, cars smashing into each other, survivors everywhere. It was the Monty Python of DayZ servers.
Do not play if u want to be serious, it was just mental as such I ran 10 people over in less than 30min
Heh, I only spawned 30 mins before that, found it all in elektro and decided to have a bit of fun
I ended up shouting geronimo and jumping off 
Bah, video removed cause I swore at the end :/

Something going **** up on a lot of the DayZ private servers, not sure if it's the patch?
Server 1 - Running through the woods, leg snaps and about 1% health, nobody near me
Server 2 - Inside a building, looting some stuff, leg snaps, 1% health and I'm dieing fast
Server 3 - See a bandit, he sees me. He gets his machete out and looks at the ground. I run out the building, again my leg snaps, this time I'm thrown into the air and back down to be killed.
In all situations, no shots fired, no explosions and did not fall over anything. I've only seen this situation once last year and it was a hacker killing people with a broken leg. But the admin on server 3 claimed nothing found

That's what happens when the game doesn't pull your character data from the database due to a misconfiguration in the way the hive and game communicate, it displays as a log on the server saying cannot execute child of all things! and you spawn as a seagull as that is the game spawning you in debug. To fix it, the server owner needs to edit their createvehicle.txt for seagull to be a kick (5) instead of a log (1)
tl;dr
Their server is incorrectly setup
they were very deadly when first out and there was a invisible bug
you put a bear trap down set it picked back up and it would still be down but invisible i know cause i broke my leg on my own 3 times in a row with my lot while i tried to trap them.
funny thing was my mate edleweiss used all his morphine on me and then straight after got his leg broke and none of us had any morphine left
