I was watching a shoot out and sent a message to a nearby survivor if he wanted to team up. Not long after however, I heard footsteps behind me, turned around to see a person with gun in hand pointing at me. I killed him and all of a sudden he starts calling me an " idiot " and " should've known he was friendly ", also the fact that he tried to tell me to stop. I said to him he said nothing and he replied " I should've known and stopped ".

I told him to always use Direct Communication and not side chat as a little bit after he was talking to people in side chat at other survivors who could've been anyone!

Hey you under that tree, comes to mind.

If anyone comes creeping up on me with a gun faced at my head, you're dead!
 
i can remember being on a random public server i saw a guy in fire station coming down stairs i chopped him in face with axe and it was you neil :D

Aha!

Some guy was screaming friendly, but he was shot at by mr bandit. I gave chase going from tree to tree, the bandit did not know. The Bandit stops in a tree and gets blasted to pieces by me, without a hit on myself. Not only was this guy full of gear but in this tree was a tent full of sniper goodies!

Win and I hid his body just to be extra annoying :)

Was on the Survive the hive and for some STUPID reason the admin puts players on GOD mode to test something, while someone takes my stuff from a bandit i just killed and runs off. Wasted an entire clip on this guy while he laughs in my face

I mentioned that I was not happy with it and an admin should not put a god mode on specific players for them to do what they want just to test something.

I then get instant banned! :rolleyes:
 
Every time I load up |GITS| server I always end up laughing my ass off, it may not be serious with it's 1000's of vehicles and 100 helis, but by heck it's fun. Ever seen 7 helis in the sky and then ramming each other lol :D

Got myself an SVD CAMO from some guy who was being rather sneaky, ended up killing 14 survivors who were told to run! Then a shoot out and I died

Great fun, time to try out the sachel charge :)
 
We've had some requests on our MGT Epoch server for some nighttime action, so i've set the restarts up as per the following to give a little bit of a change of light before the server restarts:-

0800bst restart - ingame time 16:00 - 20:00
1200bst restart - ingame time 16:00 - 20:00
1600bst restart - ingame time 16:00 - 19:00
1900bst restart - ingame time 16:00 - 19:00
2200bst restart - ingame time 16:00 - 21:00
0300bst restart - ingame time 16:00 - 21:00

Just had all the buildings blown up, then legs broken. Servers restarted, then it started again, mass killings right after.

The script/hacker's name was DJX6 So if you see this name, do not let him on your server!


EDIT: BOOM three buildings went down next to me and server crashed!

Just got around to installing ARMA2

I wondering that as a total beginner, is it worth playing vanilla first or just jumping straight to epoch or the likes?
 
play vanilla tbh . learn the ropes epoch is okay if you bored of vanilla and other mods origins is actually more popular than epoch.
