Perfect, thanks.

This is my basket as it stands.

Any other suggestions are welcomed.
Also, I have the Logitech Z5500's but they are being used by a few other devices so what desktop speakers would you recommend?

Thanks,
Hixxey

You gonna be ok to overclock the CPU yourself? If not, it's worth consider paying extra for the overclocked bundle options?

Also, I wouldn't recommend that budget CPU cooler for a i7 Quad (not saying it's crap...but you would want a better one for overclocking a i7)...look for a beefier CPU cooler instead.

Ok thanks, What CPU Cooler would you recommend for this system?

You could probably get a lower Wattage PSU as 1000W is overkill fo sho'. Just to save a few pennies

how about this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-033-ZA&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=736 for a budget case i've just done a build with it which i posted in the project logs as a industrial zalman for air cooling its really is amazing was that cool in the case my hd4870 was at 38 degrees and turned its fan off but i have 4 server grade fans (both were on there lostest setting though some zalman fan mate 2's) there is 2 front 2 side to crate lost of possitive pressure for air cooling in this set up i dont think it can be beaten

Only if you cba overclocking yourself/dont know how/are afraid to (dont mean that in a bad way, a lot of people are)/dont want to learn how. But you will save money obviously

On the other hand you'll get OCUK warranty and support with the bundle. Up to you really.

And yeah, the 850W will do nicely with that rig :). Use the saved money to buy an internal extra HDD for storage or something...

what about this ?

what about this ?

build

That would go over my £1800 budget as I need two monitors and wouldn't I need more parts if I were to get a water cooling fan?

Anyway, this is my latest build.

I swapped the RAM for Corsair and the Fan for a better one.
If anyone can see anything wrong with this build let me know.

sorry i didnt see that part off the spec as for two monitors i own two of them benq's and they take up an awful lot off room you might what to think about going for some 22"'s then you could afford the spec above oh and that water cooling thing by corsair is an all in one sealed unit so no maintance and messing about setting up just plug and play

have a re think and downgraded the fans and storage hdd as you say you've already got 2 WD my books so here goes

best spec yet.

i've got 2 24's and think there just to big for normal use as you have to turn your head a lot only thing i want them for is eyeinfinity which i want a 3rd and the case might not need the extra fans if your just running a normal graphics set up but dual 470's will kick out a bit off heat and with 4 fans blowing in and only 1 fan out plus 2 graphics out you'll get possitive pressure and really low temps have a read through this

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18187486

that was the build i done with that case and i couldnt belive how much my temps had droped bare in mind my old case had the same to fans on the front 1 behind the door and the other lower down blowing straight on to the graphics card
