Basically i got the (
CITIZEN GAMING PC - AMD RYZEN 5 2600, RX 590 8GB GRAPHICS ***THREE FREE GAMES***)
Bundle

I paid extra for more ram & gfx card
16gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000MHz
Sapphire Radeon RX Vega 56 Pulse 8GB to be put in

Alas come thursday when the computer was delivered, all updates applied. I thus begin to run games.
Low and behold after around 10 minutes the computer would completely power off. No error message, no blue screen, it does not even restart it just completely shuts off and i have to power it back on manually.

Does not matter what game i play - This is happening so much now, I contacted the guys friday and they sent me out a new PSU - Alas when i was on the phone on friday the gentleman i had spoke to when i saw what PSU they were sending out said, yes the issue is with the 600w Kolink KL PSU, that comes with the bundle

I then tell him that they already put in an 850w Kolink KL-850M 80 Plus Bronze Modular PSU inside and theyre sending me the exact same thing out.
Alas i just got told again, the issue is with the 600W, so i did not get listened to which was annoying.
So behold today i put the new psu in. Power it up, let it sit a little bit to warm up then try and yay, same thing happens YET AGAIN.

Im just wondering if anyone has an answer be it the simple fact these 850W Kolink PSU's are not any good for this build or what.

Any information would be champion.

Kollink PSUs aren't very good but the problem may not lie with the PSU. Especially as you've tried a replacement.

RMA it as you didn't pay for a pre-built system to then troubleshoot the problem yourself.

Unless, you want to(?) but it will mean routing around your system and reseting BIOS and adjusting settings, moving memory around etc... And it could be a hiding to nothing if it's a hardware fault.

The thing is i just want to be able to use it lol, im going to have to RMA but alas im having serious doubts about how it will go because, the computer got stress tested by the gentlemen but this was on a windows version that is a good bit old. I just dont want it to go back, new OS put on, they send it back to me once they've stress tested it and ive got to update it all again etc just to have a rinse and repeat scenario.

The problem you're describing would be simple for them to replicate - no need for stress testing.

Is the system plugged into an extension cable?

Try plugging directly into a socket if you can - and test again. Only needs to be the main tower - all peripherals can be remain on extension if needed. But you only need tower and monitor...

Alright boss, Ill give it a go. I changed extension as well today too thinking it may have been okay but alas not, will try the main socket for the tower.

Were you doing anything power intensive on the computer when it powered off - gaming/stress testing?

Also, how did you install the PSU - are you semi proficient with the inside of a PC or did you paint by numbers as it were - i.e. replicate what you unplugged?

PSU installation everything as normal and perfect even double checked connections etc all were spot on, Cable tidied up too.

Anything stressful, literally just playing Sea of thieves.

OK, once you're plugged in go to the BIOS and sit and monitor your temps - let me know what they are (if you can).

Also, are you using separate, independent leads for the 6 and 8 pin connections to the RX 590? i.e.not using the same lead for both connections.

If this is a pre-built system then ocuk should have done that to start with I would have thought ? It is a valid point though for the Vega 56.

HOLY S*** this is the issue isnt it, its the same way as they built up but thats the issue, its the PSU lead from itself to the gfx card that splits into two. that goes into the GFX CARD IS THIS THE ISSUE?! Pls no!
