I'll definitely give it a watch, doesn't seem like it will be as good as the original but also doesn't look like it will be as bad as some other re makes.

The silver suit looks so much better than the black one.
 
It doesn't l;ook like the actor has even gone to the same effort Weller went to in making convincing movements as a cyborg being, did anyone see the state in the way he get out of that jeep thing?....what a terrible movement, its like he stumbled out then had to straighten himself.
 
Think I will wait for a re-mastered Blu-ray version of the original, hopefully if it ever comes. Failing that then watch the dvd version again as it's been at least 10 years since I last saw it.

May hire the new one when it gets released but I wouldn't pay to see it at the cinema.

Thats what i loved about the original, Murphy looked like a rather brutal walking talking science experiment, contrast that look with the 2013 take on Murphy and oh dear...

I have a copy of the Directors Cut and it's so much better (gorier) than the TV version I saw many years ago.

I'm going to watch it tonight.

I have ALL the Robocop releases on DVD/Blu-ray, and the Criterion DVD/laserdisc is the best version (which is also the Director's Cut but has a different aspect ratio, soundmix and colour grading).:cool:
 
I watched the trailer last night and I thought it looked pants:( I think I will wait till this one is on Sky.
