** NEW SAMSUNG 750D & 950D True 120Hz LED Monitors - PRE-ORDER! **

The 950 stand has grown on me and that is the one I want but what's bothering me most is that for such expensive monitors I shouldn't have to worry about this.

Well of course you'd hope you wouldn't but unfortunately price doesn't exempt a monitor from the usual manufacturing and post-production stresses that can cause excess backlight bleed-through. I have used monitors that are 2 or 3 times the price of the Samsungs that suffer from backlight issues but I certainly think that the design of the SA950 will increase the likelihood of problems. I have seen this myself and also based on feedback from others. Please don't let that put you off though if you really like the design and features etc. - I've known some good ones too. ;)

Oh yeah. When will you open it? Have you found your SA750s satisfactory in this department? I seem to remember you were having some problems with your GPU and not sure if you sorted this (I stopped following your thread over in the GPU section - sorry :p).

not much point opening it as i have literally NO space on my desk!

I need to test it out though.

The 750's are sooooo amazing!!!!

A bit of 3D ghosting but I can live with it.

How do I get one par of glasses to work over two monitors though?

I'm not sure about how you would get one pair of glasses to work over multiple monitors. I just assumed it was possible and I'm sure people have done it. What happens if you run TriDef and then activate a pair of shutter glasses? Does one screen not look right or something?
