** NEW SAMSUNG 750D & 950D True 120Hz LED Monitors - PRE-ORDER! **

They both provide such a nice image in games that it's difficult to say. The Hazro is just an unbelievable deal (if you get a good one) at the moment and you get a really nice resolution for the desktop. Judging from your specifications you could drive this no problems in games too. Then again you could make the most of the 120Hz refresh rate, too. I think it will have to be your decision :p.

If you are using it primarily for gaming then go with the 120Hz Samsung as it makes everything so more fluid and smooth, I would recommend only 120hz monitors for gamers from now on!

The hazro has a much higher resolution that the Sumsung, and I cant see my self using the 3D much.
PCM2 if you were gonna buy one of these for gaming which one would you choose then :D

I have the SA750 and I seem to be having some issues with the Tridef software and Steam Games.

Anybody know how to get steam games working with Tridef?

Also anybosy know about the game profiles for tridef and wether they are needed and if so how do you use them??

most, if not all were. I'll check a bit later for you.

really busy ATM

Cheers m8, appreciate it.

Are you using the Full Tridef Ingnition Software or the Tridef Synmaster Software that came with the monitor?

The wierd thing is that I got BF3 to work on single player but then the issue i have is that when ever I load up a multiplayer map it stays in 3d and I cant get it back to normal.

I am proper confused with the 3d side of this. I have even posted on the Tridef forums but thier support is non exsistant.

BF3 eh?

Will have to give that a whizz in 3D!:D

I really dont know:confused::confused::confused:

I unisatlled everything and loaded up the full ignition tridef.

It scanned and the BF3 icon appeard in the tridef panel. Loaded the BF3 profile, Started the campaign and boom, it looked alright as well.

However I am still trying to figure out how to play Steam Games with the Tridef poop????

Really beginning to think 3d is a hit and miss gimmick that needs a lot of work

I wholeheartedly agree that with Tridef it is very hit and miss, sometimes it works great, quite often not so great. There are bugs in the Tridef software also and the moderators of the forums there have no idea, I brought an issue to their attention and they gave advice back that was completely irrelevant.

With 3D Vision however the experience is much better. I admit there are still situations where you need to do certain tweaks, fixes etc but in general it is a lot more problem free. The 3D effect is much better, in some games with Tridef i notice a lot of ghosting, using 3D Vision on the same games little if none at all.

This is with using the same monitor by the way, the 950D, i'm not using a different monitor to use 3D Vision to make these comparisons.

Generally people aren't aware that you can use 3D Vision with this monitor, thinking they are limited to Tridef/iZ3D.

A simple hack was released where the Nvidia drivers can be tricked into thinking the built in emitter of the monitor is a 3D Vision emitter, thus enabling the 3D Vision portion of the drivers.

This does however require a Nvidia graphics card of course. I tested this monitor on my friends GTX460 SLI setup and have now bought a GTX 570 from Overclockers which i'm eagerly waiting delivery of today :D

Agreed on the Tridef support..it is utterly awful.

Yeah its pretty bad. They had no clue about the issue i brought to their attention, I explained very clearly and even offered insight into a solution. Its quite a basic issue too and they just didn't get it.

In my previous post I was hating on Tridef software pretty hard, but it's not all bad. Some games do work flawlessly and look amazing using Tridef. I've been using Tridef since I got my monitor and have been enjoying 3D a lot, but like you said its a bit hit and miss.

3D Vision is undeniably better though.
