** NEW SAMSUNG 750D & 950D True 120Hz LED Monitors - PRE-ORDER! **

why would it make a difference at all? try it with a hdmi cable in one of your 750d's first, if it works then you can decide whether you should try it with a three dp cables to be 100% certain, or to just return your 950d and get another 750d

Yes. Preempting your questions, the 23 inch Samsung models should be a bit better in terms of responsiveness and colour reproduction once tweaked. The ASUS is a really decent screen too but not quite up to the hypothetical level of the Samsungs. The ColorShine screen surface is very similar to the Dell TrueLife and is more reflective than the Samsung Ultra Clear as illustrated in the T27A950 review comparison.

If you are viewing 2d content with the built I'm 2d to 3d converter it won't seem very 3d. If you are then you need to install the tridef 3d game launcher that came with the monitor and load one of your favourite games through that.

Then be amazed :)

Downloading some 3d videos would also be a good idea, most downloadable 3d movies come I'm SBS format so just play it in any media player and select side by.side from the monitors 3d menu.

So are you saying that to get the best 3D effect with movies you should play/download 3D movies and set the monitor to side by side setting??

Yes, 100%.

2D to 3D conversion is a cool little feature, but its ultimately just a gimmick. Its not real 3D, not even close. It can be fun to play around with though with your 2D content.

If you want to watch movies in 3D then definitely download 3D movies (seems obvious, no? :p).

Not all 3D monitors allow you to choose which 3D mode to run from the menu, so you can download a program which does the side by side conversion for you (stereoscopic player, powerdvd 10, etc) and then just enable 3D on the monitor.

These Samsungs allow you to just choose it from the built in 3D menu, making it much easier as you can play the SBS movies in any player you like :)
