The future has arrived
Is 2500mb/s seq read speed anywhere near the m.2 gen4 4x threshold?
I checked this morning, never mind (you put them in the PCIE SSD page, it should be in the M.2 page) also a quick question, what is the warranty on the EK Predator 360mm AIO
I absolutely want this. Made a Skylake build for the SM951, definitely hanging on for this.
Do Overclockers.co.uk charge Pre-orders when you order them, or when they ship?
They charge as soon as you order at the checkout.

I thought that the theoretical maximum throughput was 4 GB/s and the actual throughput being lower so there is probably room to go faster. We'll go faster as chipsets and memory evolves.
These babies are being mass produced, so should be no shortage of stock once they are fully released
two of these in RAID 0 and you have 5000 read 3000 write
the new Intel ssd below

Has anyone done a Raid 0 yet with M.2

I've read that a RAID 0 cannot be a bootable drive.
Nvme is the newer tech designed for m2 ssds, you will really only see faster results using benchmark software, personally I would go for the nvme onesJust noticed these on the store today the 950pro is £90 more than the sm951. Is that really worth it? the 5 year is nice but if the drive doesn't fail in the first few months they are usually good for a good stint aren't they? Much like mechanical drives I believe. Maybe a bit of initial fleecing and the price will come down?
Just noticed the sm951 comes in AHCI and NVMe. I didn't realise it came in AHCI, other than some IOPS gaines are there any other differences?
