New samsung gear VR

I want to know if you can still see the edges of the Oculus or if it entirely fills your peripheral vision. With the cardboard it was like looking through a telescope that someone had smeared with grease.

Hmm, yeah I guess so. I don't really think about it. In reality, even a huge 50" only takes such a small portion of your view in your living room, this 'virtual' TV does take up a large portion of your field of view.

Btw, my new demo to show people Gear VR is the Assassins Creed Jack the Ripper 3D movie in Oculus Video. Give it a go, I think you find it in 'Shorts'.

Anyone having issues installing and updating some apps? Keep getting errors from Oculus app after the app itself updated.

Tried installing the new streetmaps vr app but I kept getting the same error.

No. Your brain constructs the 3rd dimension because you have two eyes, giving a slightly different angle on everything. The GearVR puts a different image in front of each eye, emulating your natural view.

Mine arrived today, I bought it on the strength of Flossy Carter's "real gear vr review" on youtube, apparently the cheaper construction on the latest model I bought off amazon suffers less fogging, after some credits and vouchers were knocked off the price it was £47 and free prime delivery, 3rd package off anazon I've had this week I got the lads a kitsound boombar bt each for £20 in the primo carry cases.

Any chance of providing an English translation? :p

Really looking forward to getting a Gear 360, which is odd because I almost don't like watching 2D 360 videos now I've seen 3D 360 videos, but I guess to be able to make my own, would be better than 2D regular videos...

Should it replace a GoPro do you think?

It could do...
