Can you let us know when you get the box what the build date is please? In the middle of the serial number on the outside of the box, "Nx" where x will be 6,7,8,9 etc denoting the month of the year.

Delivered and set up! No light leaks! No flickering. Need to find out how to test other stuff to check for defects.
My work laptop only supports up to 3840*1080, but good enough for work.

My only small issue after a week of using an N6 is the rice krispie popping sound as the monitor heats up - doesn't do it a lot but it is slightly irritating. Let me know if you have any noise from yours.

My jungle order has just arrived.... Its a 95 model rather than a 93 BUT it is an N5!!! Going to start putting it together now. If its a dud then I have another one arriving direct from Samsung tomorrow (I ordered it yesterday as my work get discount - 10%). @ocusername - did yours come from the jungle too?

@maxh mines direct from Samsung. They do next day delivery before 10.30am.
Can't get sound from laptop to work on tv. using hdmi. I think its more user error than the monitor though.

It gets worse I'm afraid. Light bleed on the top left again. Not as bad as the one I had at the beginning of the week but still just under 2cm. It's going back to the jungle. No stuck/dead pixels though and no popping. No evidence of flicker (although I'm only using a Macbook Pro 13" at the moment as I'm waiting for Nvidia 30 series cards to be in stock for my new PC...!)
Let's hope 3rd time lucky when my direct Samsung order arrives tomorrow...

So i am now in two minds whether to risk another order via manufacturer OR just wait for retailers. Getting an N7 is positive... but i would feel safer knowing what "month builds" you other guys got from them before going for it. And rainforest sending out a MAY build!! seriously!?
Will let you know tomorrow! Sad I'm not getting it today. Maybe because I ordered at 19:35? Or maybe I shouldn't have selected a delivery date, I didn't want to wait until Monday so choose Saturday when offered.

Don't know who this rainforest place are but maybe they're getting repackaged ones from Samsung too now? We should compare serial numbers to see if some of us have received the same dodgy unit!

Yeah N7 is July - july onwards are the "good builds" from the evidence on reddit.
