Nvidia control panel seems to state "Selected Display is not validated as G-SYNC Compatible", hopefully a new driver update will fix that, not sure if it'll be using G-SYNC until then or not. Going through the settings atm, don't have my Spyder with me so can't check calibration unfortunately.

It's says "upcoming driver" near the bottom of the list here,

Hi all. Been following the thread for a while and felt need to chip in with my own manic checking my order every 15 mins.

I pre-ordered the G9 on the 21st June. I feel like kid waiting for Xmas. This is first big purchase in forever. Currently using a Samsung sx2331 to give a sense of how big an upgrade this fella will be.

Really hoped to be in those who got it today but alas...
 
I am the same! Even though I have always had the end of July in mind I was secretly hoping for today although knowing how unlikely it was! Shouldn't really feel a little gutted but hey ho. Looking at stocks everywhere I would happily settle for a couple of weeks right now.. I haven't actually fully disclosed it to the Mrs yet so at least I have more brownie point earning time to avoid the noose. Coming from a 24" 1080p 60Hz .... !

hopefully wont be much longer, i to hoped to be today as ordered on 8th June, but no luck, they went to others who must have ordered even earlier?
 
I really want this G9 but will wait until it becomes generally more available. Why is there such a global shortage? ... i know i know Corona virus right? Was tempted to get the LG 49WL95C-W but doubt its ability for gaming. 75 Mhz is pretty meh for a monitor with that price tag!

I have the 32" and a 2080TI, not even using VRR/Gsync at the moment, doubt any games would go below 80fps anyway. Maybe I'm retarded but I don't see the point of VRR if your fps are not going super low. Monitor feels super responsive and contrasts/colors in games are amazing. A new experience for me, coming from a AW3418DW.
 
Decided to sit on the sidelines for now and wait for some detailed reviews. Will say these first impressions sound promising
 
My 27" G7 arrived today direct from the manufacturer and it's DOA :'( It switches on for a few seconds then cuts out, I think it's a bad power-supply, I've got a replacement request in hopefully they have stock.
 
Anyone had their g7 arrive from OC yet? Think I'm not due in the first batch anyway but would be good to see the timeline for getting the units out progressing
