IDK, there will be games that will push the 5090. I play VR sims, the quest for clarity via supersampling is endless, there is no max. I have to do 1.1x in LMU with a 4080, but I can do 1.4x in iracing and ac and AMS2 and they are all very clear on the quest 3, though not quite monitor clear... though not jagged at all, either I must say.

But that 5090 price is just... it's silly. Like I said before, even if you can stomach paying it, people will think you're ridiculous. I'd feel like I could never really criticize anyone's decisions ever again. The founder 5090 will be VERY difficult to get here in Canada, so that 3k msrp is gonna be more like 4k with taxes and AIB upcharge. And that's a lot of money. You can buy like, a car or a motorcycle or a boat or something for that much. Not great ones, but I'm just trying to say that once it gets over 3 grand canadian, it's beginning to be a real amount of money

Absolutely. I have orders going back to 2008 with ocuk just because of their customer service

If you can sell your 4090 high it's a small upgrade cost for +30% minimum gains and +more vram.

I'd like to think that with the 5080 being massively cheaper this time around it'll alleviate some of the demand for the 5090, but we shall see I guess.

UK only and 1 per customer will help, quite a bit.

But theres no getting away from the fact that you've got to be sitting at your computer credit card details ready to go whilst keeping an eye on the forum and discord at least half an hour before launch if you want any hope of snagging one.

For the last couple of generations, sales have opened at around 2PM on launch day and cards ordered from OCUK that were in-stock have arrived with people the following day.
