New Site Feedback

Just put an RMA note in, and thought the fields/boxes looked pretty awful.

Think pre-GCSE "IT" classes, something thrown together in MS Publisher in a few minutes.... that's the vibe I'm getting.

Perhaps if people are on mobiles mostly, then that's where you need to focus your attention - but it certainly looks less professional than before I think.

All this feedback is not falling on deaf ears guys. Just have to give OcUK the time to sort it all. At least they can see the feedback that is given here and correct any of these things in a way that suits the customer and them.

Just my point of view but I think it looks very amateur and not fitting of a company that has done as well as OCUK. Very loud, messy and just not pleasing to the eye.

Are product alerts working? I signed up for an alert on 'LG 34UM95C-P 34', and I see that it is now in stock, but no alert appears to have been received.

Also I can't the life of me figure out how to get the 'Compare' feature to work. I can click on compare and I can see 'Compare Product 2' at the top of the screen, but this does not appear to respond to being clicked.

oh, unless I add a third item.... I don't want to compare 3 things...

Still don't like it, actually prefer a few competitors sites to it now which is a shame as the old site was so much nicer and clearer to use than any of those owned by the competition.

So true. I'm actually using a couple of competitors sites more often now where as OcUK was always the go to site in the past. It probably won't stop me buying from you but when I'm bored and just having a browse I much prefer other sites.

My best find to date on the new OC website. :D

Error 404 page :)

Just one minor typo - on the front page under the 'Business, Corporate and Education Sales' heading, the text says:

Whether you're a small business, larger corporation or an education establishment, Overclockers will be happy to help with all of your IT requirements. Visit our Business section for more informtation.

I would agree with this, from a visual standpoint, it hurts my eyes. Red and blue clash massively, and I can't quite concentrate on the menu or the layout because of this.
It's almost like it can't work out if it wants to be black, dark grey, light grey or white in important sections with massively overused red and blue highlights everywhere. I actually do like it, but somehow it needs to have a hierachy of black for background, blended dark grey/light grey for menus and sections with white for text. I would use the blue and red for highlighting certain parts very sparingly, and mostly only as a text colour (i.e not to highlight the search bar)

ordered a new monitor and found a bug:

i git to the delivery address page and wanted to change it so pressed 'other' - it gives a list of addresses but when i selected one of them all it did was go back to the original address and not the one i selected.

also, is there a way of deleting addresses from my profile because i have old ones that aren't applicable and a couple of duplicates but can't seem to get rid of them??

If your order fails there should be a button in your account order history next to the order to allow you to re add the products to the basket (Configurators unfortunately I believe get readded at default config) This may not work if some of the products have since gone EOL and there's no stock.

If you do have troubles yourself with orders or such please use the bug report button on the bottom of the web page, the email will come to me and I can talk to you directly about the issues.
