4 day old install of win7 64 on ocz vertex 2e bigfoot 120gb.

Ive got a Crucial M4 128gb and a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3 mobo and mines shows 11 secs to log on and 32 secs to desktop..

That sounds a bit crap to me...

I do have malwarebytes, superantispyware, epson monitor and a few others in the startup ......

Does it sound about right or not????

Unplugging my DVDRW changed my boot speed from 28 seconds to 17 seconds, does anyone have a DVDRW that doesn't slow their boot time when used with the Intel Rapid Storage 10.x drivers, if so which one?

I only plug mine in when i need it, they take ages to fireup.

Pretty fast.

Every second counts ;)

I'm going to do some test's with 1 then 2, no tweak from fresh install then full updates etc and different RST drivers

I still get 30s with my 128 crucial m4, any ideas on what the issue could be? its connected to sata6 on a p67A-G45 MSI motherboard

It depends on how many start up items you have but do you have the latest firmware for your drive and the latest bios for your mobo ?

60gb OCZ Vertex 2. 12 seconds to Logon, 20 seconds to desktop.

Any tips on how to improve speed/clean up my SSD?
