Simple answer is that I wouldn't get Farcry 2 if it was 99p. Absolutely horrid game. Farcry 1 was great (well until the stupid Aliens came into it and somewhat ruined the game) but Farcry 2 has no redeeming features.

Yeha I got the same sort of feeling from others on here, but it just looks too damned pretty for me to resist sometimes! Gah! I know what you are saying is probably right though....

Is it even worth it for multiplayer?

I couldn't play Doom 3 for similar reasons, I don't like surprises and every enemy jumped out of the dark and scared the **** outta me. It just wasn't sporting.

It wasn't that. Its just that they did the same thing time after time after time. After the 30th imp jumped out at you when you opened a door... seriously did they only have 3 ideas?

There was only a single level on Doom 3 that i liked. The only 1 with any real atomsphere to it, the only 1 that seemed to have had any effort put into it. The level where you first find eneimes wielding Chainsaws. Very different environment to before, eerie background noises, etc. The only level that used atmosphere to make it scary as opposed to annoying things appearing from nowhere.
 
I got Unreal deal. Am looking forwards to playing UT3. Loved the original and didn't play any of the sequels but am looking forwards to getting to grips with it. The screenshots looked excellent. Not bothered about online as only ever played the original offline anyway and had HOURS of fun.

FC2, do I, don't I....hmmmm....
