Looks like we are getting faye from bolton and i think he will be a good squad player still need a decent right back and it looks like dyer will go to west ham hopefully .

Who's we? Faye is decent although a bit of a brute at times.

Sevilla have come out and said they have rejected a bid from Chelsea for Alves saying the bid is way below what they value him at.

Makes me happy because I don't have to sub him out my Fantasy Football team after all! I bought him on the basis it was a done deal to WHU first time around.

Yeah not like you can say its all about potential since he's hardly early 20's now.

Just been think but was Sven not complaining whilst England manager about how the premiership is overrun with Foreign players and yet he's gone out and bought about 9 himself

hes a club manager now, not the eng manager, so its not his problem anymore :D If you were a club manager do you really think the chairman would give you the money to buy a full english squad? It would cost a bombshell, and probably not even get a champions league spot

I actually want Man City to do well for some reason this year.

I think it's because his team looks like many of my FM2007 teams :p

He's also been giving chances to lots of youngsters at City and some decent ones at that.

Pearce introuduced the youngsters, the likes of Johnson, Richards, Onuoha and Ireland all made there debuts last year. The foundations were there for Ericsson but Pearce did do a good job starting them.

Didn't say otherwise but Sven is playing more young English players than there are at most clubs.

Your statement seemed to suggest that he was the first to have given the youngsters a chance, whereas they've already established themselves so there's no reason why he shouldn't play them.

Nope just responding to somebody saying Sven's gone out and bought loads of foreigners, implying that he was restricting the chance of english players. All i meant was that the players he's bought haven't been brought in to replace young english players but the rubbish foreigners that Pearce signed.

Aye fair enough, he seems to have brought in the foreigners to fit around the young talent. Fair play to him.
