1. Henry 92

Breaking News on SSN, Real Madrid sign Robben and Drenthe according to Spanish Radio.

In lesser news, Barnsley sign Heinz Muller from Lillestrom. This guy is a 6 foot 6 goalkeeper and aparently something special, many people say we wont hold onto him passed January he is that good :o

I guess that means Real have dropped their interest in Daniel Alves, leaving Chelsea free to sign him. Assuming Sevilla are willing to let him go.

There was a gentlemans agrement between Chelsea and Real that if Madrid dropped their interest in Alves and allow Chelsea to have him they would allow Robben to move

Gentlemans agreement between those 2 :D :D :D

How many of Ronaldo's goals were penalties?

What does it matter how many of his goals were penalties?

Yakubu scored 12 goals in the Premiership, 4 of them were penalties. He scored 5 in the F.A. Cup and 2 of them were penalties. So the seasons total of 17 goals/6 penalties.

Compare that to Ronaldo, 18 goals in the Premiership, 3 of them penalties. His only 2 goals in the F.A. Cup were both penalties. And he scored 3 goals in the Champions League. Total amount of goals 23 goals/5 penalties. So not only did Ronaldo outscore a striker but he scored from less penalties too. Up until December Saha took all our penalties.

I know of at least one penalty he 'earned' and scored last season that he shouldn't... cheating &@%$!

Oh was that the game we went on to win 4-0? :p

Linoge posted what I meant by the 23 goals.

Boro fans rave about Yakubu being this goal scoring force, yet Rooney is one goal behind and all Man Utd fans say he doesn't score enough (as well as fans of all the other teams).

Maybe people who say Rooney doesn't score are stupid then. or simply have blinkers on because he plays for Man Utd. Mind you, you would expect a player playing for Man Utd to score more goals then one playing for Boro.

Linoge, don't you know pens don't apperantly count. Even if, like the Yak, he won them all himself.

The penalty thing was a reply to an earlier comment about 'how many penalties did Ronaldo score'.

The problem with Rooney is that he spends over half the match in the middle of the park winning the ball leaving no-one up front. He doesn't do bad for someone who basically plays from midfield, he'd score a lot more if he stayed up front for example.

Chelsea are saying that they've still not recieved an official bid for Robben yet, I wish he'd just go as he obviously doesn't want to play for us anymore and if we get @£20m for someone like that we can spend it on someone who does want to play for us, like Alves:)

I read that Chelsea want him to hand in a transfer request and publically state that he wants to move before they'll let him go.

That's probably true, we don't want to sell him but if he wants to go then he should make that clear.

Would Alves be coming as a rb or rm? As he really can't defend.
I assume as a RB, is he any worse than Ferreira?

Wing Back, a role like Evra/Carlos/Cicinho i would imagine.
Chelsea don't play wing-backs though

Maybe not actually worse technically but he is very attacking (makes Roberto Carlos look defensive) and will get caught up field a lot.

Yep, Alves can't defend, he's very much like a more powerful Evra. Great going forwards, suspect defensively.

If that's the case in Spain, what's it gonna be like in England?
