Back O/T, I really enjoyed this episode, hope tonights keeps it up.

I must say I thought it was a shame the 959 & F40 did not really go head to head as such, two decent drivers & a dry test track would have been great....

I thought there would be a catch when they said they had permission to put them on the track....

Radio Times had last nights episode as a 1 of 2 so I think next week is just the second part of the 'best of'.

Hilarious story as it doesn't even quote his salary from the BBC for top gear. He does loads of other stuff which helps him earn money. Its not like all £100,000 of that is paid for with tax payers money, as that story implies. Grrr

As far as I know, none of it comes from taxpayers' money. Top Gear puts far more money into the BBC than it takes out.

Why do they even bother with 'best of' episodes?
Why don't they just repeat the episodes instead of just using the crappiest bits for a 'best of', or rather a 'worst of'
