New World MMO

Yeah, of course you are, that's why you're spending your time trying to stop people criticising the games you're supposed to be playing...
You spend more time bashing this game and otehrs constantly LOL

Why not spend time in playing games you enjoy?

Or maybe you dont like playing any video games and you love to constantly bash games asd a hobby?

Each to there own i mean some people do have some crazy weird hobbies and if your hobbie is to simply bash video games, then sure ok lol

Would seem their game engine is a steaming pile of **** if for every major bug fix they push they break multiple other things. I can't remember any other mmo that had things this bad?

This right there is a carbon copy of The Division 2.

Wow, crazy stats. New world has become old world rather quickly. It's made me reconsider ESO and Guild Wars 2 though.

It's funny though. Not that long ago, a few weeks ago my twitch list was mainly everyone streaming New World. Now it's 1 - 2 people.

It was revealed that Amazon had paid 65 bigger streamers to stream New World and only New World for a set period of time, so that might have accounted for why your twitch list was full of people streaming it.

Welcome to Twitch. Where any game has a shelf life of a few weeks tops...you will see a similar thing with the next big release (aka battlefield)

Its a great platform for devs to sell their games in the opening market window and push the zeitgeist before everybody stops caring. Games have become exceptionally disposable.

Tbf, Guild Wars 2 is probably the best non-sub MMO around imo.
Yeah, some elements of the graphics on GW2 are starting to look a bit dated, but for gameplay I agree I think it's still a great MMO, especially given no monthly sub. WOW Season of Mastery is due out later this month and I may consider that also.

they had a content creator programme on the new world site.

all the streamers got the game for free, even the tiny streamers, they all had priority queue to the server.
if you looked at twitch on release day everyone was playing new world.

all the small streamers had sponsored in the title but the bigger ones didn't

I'm sick to death of influencers already they are like a cancer on society.

even the hardware companies do it now, check youtube for alderlake stuff, people with only a 1000 subscribers got sent freebies to unbox by intel. whos paying for it? the customers ofcourse

almost tempted to set up a channel, do some BS reviews of products, bot me a few hundred subscribers and jump on the free products band wagon my self so I can be a parasite too.

why do we need all these shepherds trying to think for us.

the worlds marketing practices are pure toxic psychology

Of course Amazon are going to take advantage of their no 1 streaming service to market the game, they'd be bonkers not too.

Twitch itself these days just gives me a dirty grubby kind of vibe, especially with the new 'pay to boost' feature. As much as I dislike YouTube and some of their practices, I do hope they start to give twitch a run for their money as they start to push their own streaming service.

And GW2 is awesome fun, I'm looking forward to jumping back in when the new expansion launches.

Yep but sadly it's so fickle. Trend followers.

Funny that as well. Hearing so many teenagers saying they want to be influencers these days.
