News on Wife (reason for being away for a day)

Awful news, such a short time frame as well from that initial thread a few weeks ago :( with the strength you've shown I'm confident you'll get through this and continue to help others with that immeasurable selflessness you possess.

Your story of Paola has been felt by all of us these past weeks, and your dedication and love has shone through, along with the sheer resilience of both of you

This is devastating news, thoughts are very much with you.
 
That's really sad, I just read through all of the updates (your last one got me thinking about not taking things for granted) and then I read the final update. Sorry for your loss, it sounds like you did a great job and were a fantastic carer.

I was also thinking from reading your posts that you have a tremendous amount of knowledge that could really help families in the same position. Perhaps you could make a career from this or put your skills to great use?
