For starters not to mention that for a few quid more you can get better performance when you have a budget of 300 quid anyway deemed to be right.
Well, for starters, it's not "a few quid more." It's more like 22% more, and since he said his budget is £300, I cannot for the life of me figure out why you think everybody would be willing to slap 22% onto an already huge budget.
He could get an X1900XT now for £211 (or £205 on this week only), which isn't even close to 7950GX2 performance, but it beats the 7900GTX in a lot of benchmarks and has superior image quality beside the bonus of being £70 or so cheaper than it.
Alternatively, he could wait for the X1950XT, as Gibbo stated that it's almost as good as a 7950GX2 performance-wise and will only be £275. The fact that it has 256MB video memory is completely irrelevent as I have stated with three links to a huge range of benchmarks up to 2048x1536 with and without antialiasing enabled, but according to you he should spend almost £100 more and get a slightly faster card with inferior image quality. I can't see how an extra £100 is worth it, that's a lot of money to someone with a £300 budget.

The majority of people with that high end budget would not think twice about spending 60 quid more for 6000 more 3d marks ,quite frankly.
Firstly; He said that his budget is £300. You seem to be ignoring this key fact, and keep suggesting he add another 22% or more onto that.
Secondly; 3D Mark isn't a very fun game, It gets kind of repetative. I don't know if he cares about an extra 6000 in 3D Mark, hell we don't even know what the X1950 gets in 3D Mark yet so that's pure speculation on your part (something you have accused me of already in this thread.) What we do know though is that, according to Gibbo, it that a single one is almost at the performance level of the GX2.

so stop repeating yourself.Its boring.
Yeah, I wouldn't have to if I wasn't talking to a wall. Don't worry, I'll stop bothering soon enough as it's pretty pointless to provide evidence over and over again when the other party simply ignores it.

I dont have any hatred towards the X1950XT...The GX2 for 60 quid more is a better buy than the x1950 256mb version.
Firstly, it's not £60 more, it's more like £90 more (X950XT will be £275 inc. and the GX2 is currently £365 inc. Do the maths.) Secondly; How many times do I have to point out that 256MB is fine? Do I have to pull out the benchmarks again? Do I have to remind you we're talking about GDDR4, the bleeding-edge of memory technology? Do you now see what I mean about talking to a wall?
