Next Gen iPhone Metal Backs Leaked

Any guesses as to what the little hole is between the camera lens opening and the flash? Also there's a sim tray in that pic but there doesn't seem to be an opening to insert it into

This is much too early for a full product pre release if they go to October time frame. Even saying that again its not the timescale that convinces me, its the fact it looks terrible! You watch :)

I guess we'll have to see... I wouldn't have too much of a problem if this was the real deal though :p I like it :)

I'm calling fake. The design is very much anti-Apple, and very much chinese knock-off.

Firstly is the two tone thing going on at the back, secondly the bottom (all the previous models have had cutouts and the dock connector, all to match in shape), and lastly is the camera area (you'd expect Apple to go from largest to smallest).

Er...

That's the point I made eariler. The first gen was a separation for reception. Seeing as this one has the 4/4s antenna there's no need or the two tone design.
Nothing more than a Chinese mock up

I'm more worried about the lack of the 30pin dock/charger connector and that new one if those 'leaks pics' are the real deal.

There's been a lot of rumor that they'd shrink it down in order to create more space for other stuff; some people were expecting to see it on this year's iPad but it didn't show. Given there's so many years worth of docks, especially audio ones I have no doubt they'll be a simple 'mini 30 pin to 30 pin' adapter so it will still connect, but it's about time they miniturised it tbh.

Perhaps the metal back will work as an inductive charger, like the Palm Pre, as the 'mini30 pin dock'. You can see the antenna band is separated at the top and bottom on these parts, echoing the first iPhone somewhat.

Looks like my iPhone 4 will be lasting until the next next generation. iPhone 5s/6

What I do think would be lush is a full brushed aluminum iPhone.

4" screen
Touch home button, surely everyone is sick of pressing that horrible home button. (most break after 1-2 years of constant use)

:D

I am might 4 home button gave up and Apple said they couldn't do anything as it was nearly 2 years old :(
