ironically, it's neither for us. We've run with end of April financial year rather than either traditional dates.

Miners are literally the worst.
I don't get why OCUK doesn't just restrict it. Strictly 1 purchase per customer, check the orders before they ship. Any orders of qty > 1 going to the same address cancel all the orders.

got off of web chat with a competitor. They are citing technical issues over the weekend and i'll be contacted via email regarding my order...
I bet they got rammed with orders with everyone applying 10% off, got in this morning and were like "eh wtf?! we're missing a trick here lads, take the 10% off promotion off of the website, cancel all the orders which happened over the weekend, jack up the prices and sell again" (rubbing hands vigorously).
blessing in disguise i think, any warranty claims may be a nightmare with that place, going off of their reviews.

I hope that you get it, but I have seen a review in which someone claimed that they had a order but it never arrived, they were given a refund after a month

After contacting they also told me that they were unsure of what happened, they blamed payment processing in my case. I assume that as it's a drop shipping system that their supplier has to sign off, and that the supplier cancelled all of the orders.
Think of drop shipping more as you putting in a request to buy. The website then makes an order on your behalf to a third party with your funds in escrow, allowing a third party to either accept and process or refuse the order. It's not like here on OCUK where they actually buy the stock first then sell it later, the website has no actual power to guarantee that the orders are fulfilled.
As such yes, I'd say that any orders to such a place should be considered less likely to be fulfilled than an order to OCUK given they have less responsibility and risk incurred.

I can tell you, my daughter needs one, my cousin needs one, my brother etc. But fortunately my daughter can play Minecraft on her laptop. I have a PS5 for her to play the more graphics heavy games.
I am not constantly chasing cards but if any do appear online for RRP and I am in front of the PC I will not pass up the opportunity to replace my current 3090fe and RX470.
