Nexus 7 is very tempting now.
So they've dropped the 16Gb in price and shoehorned the 32Gb in at the same price level?
Might have a wander into the local 'you know where' and take a look as it says they have stock already!

Shame they haven't kept the base 8Gb and done it sub £100!

Very interesting.

But:

a) What does it feel like? If its more plastic tat then it'll be a real shame.
b) £70 for 16gb of flash memory. We really need to stamp this out as consumers by not being prepared to pay that.

There's a video of Mathias Duarte talking about the tablet (with sample in hand) and it doesn't look like the thin, shiny and crap plastic that the Galaxy S III, Note II or Note 10.1 are made out of. Looks more like the kind of polycarbonate found housing the HTC One X.

Basically, it doesn't feel like a Sensation so you won't be interested :p
 
After the bezels got slated for being too big, it looks like the speakers are front facing (at alast!) and built into the bezels.

Smart.

Yes, the speakers facing the front is a major thing for me as my TF201 has the speakers on the back which is pointless.

I think the bezels look bigger because they're curved on the top and bottom of the tablet which I'm not sold on at all. Also not sold on the new location of the navigation buttons.
 
This is an amazing tablet, best specs out there, crazy google pricing. IF only the tablet apps catch up then I might get one of these, I will see in early 2013, either this or a Pro w8 tablet.

Now at first glance it's looking like this is what they've chosen for the backing to the Nexus 10 rather than the metal or plain plastic, can anyone confirm?

It's still not quite nailed but it looks a million miles better than the leaked pics. All black, plenty of matte, tidy, bit weird with the bar across the top of the back but all in all it's actually a very nice looking device. Hopefully it feels as good in the hand.

I also assume it's just an LCD screen, not SAMOLED?
 
Indeed! Mobile tech. moves so fast it is unbelievable.

Pretty much a new top end phone out every 4-5 months now, use to be just every year...
