*** Nexus 10 Tablet ***

I'd also like to know this, I currently have a SGS2 and was considering the switch to a windows phone and surface. However, if this could at least do basic editing of office documents and spreadsheets with a decent app I would be ecstatic.

Have just seen the above. I also heard a rumour that office would be coming to android in 2013, do we think there will be any truth to this?

I too was leaning towards a WP8 phone (nokia or htc 8s) paired with a Surface RT but looking on here today im tempted to do a nexus 4 paired with a nexus 10 combo.

The office and editing spreadsheets for work is a must though as i'm a busy body manager and like to work on the move and at home (spreadsheets/word)

I agree, I also use Evernote to record minutes etc and with the need for office (or an app capable) what do we think are the odds of a dock with keyboard or keyboard accessory eventually being released for this device?

I'm pretty sure you can hook usb keyboards up to the nexus 7 using an OTG cable so I cant see why this would be any different.

Anyone used Polaris? Just looking at a few Youtube videos and it doesn't look that good. I tend to work with OpenOffice over Microsoft Office purely because our work PC's have it installed.

I need a tablet that i can log onto work e-mails, download spreadsheets attachments and work with/edit/update and e-mail back with ease.

I tried out the new chrome book today (was acutal looking for some windows 8 tablets LOL). The A15's in that thing are stupidly fast, I was running 1080p youtube, doing benchmarks and running a few other tabs and it just didnt lag, and this on a not so optimised OS I would say is very promising.

I ran Bowser mark, it got 210,000. Also ran sunspider, Results. Just to compare this is my laptop running latest version of chrome and i7 quadcore, PC Results. Not sure how relevant this all is but it seems very promising too me.

Results for the A15s look awesome! Although I think there's something up with your PC's result. I just ran the test on my laptop (with everyone else open and running in the background) and got this:

Any idea if usb sticks draw a lot of power when plugged into tablets ?, I'm thinking of getting a 16GB Nexus 10 and Kingston DataTraveler Elite 32GB stick for putting movies etc on.

oh ffs! I braced myself for a tablet since the first iPad was unveiled, barely bought myself one only recently and now this decides to come out? I guess its never the right time for such piece of technology...

Whats the point in having a Nexus 10 *and* an iPad 3?

For technical evaluation but I won't go into that here.

The iPad3 for apps which are not available on Android and of course a SKY + remote control. It's a living room tablet. The 10 because of the flexibility of the Android OS. Let's not forget the 7 which has its uses because it fits in a jacket pocket.

I won't go into Windows 8. I guess you'll have to toss a coin to decide which one you want.

I think I might get this instead of the Nexus 4. I have a Nexus S and it does everything I need.

I have a Nexus 7 but miss the 10" form factor.

Too many great products out at the same time!!

Will 4.2 be coming to the Nexus 7 too? I've just seen the review on this and really like the way you can have separate user accounts. I'm guessing thats an OS feature rather than device?

Yep the 7 will still get plenty of updates as it's a Nexus device.
