*** Nexus 10 Tablet ***

I won't know until tomorrow night when I get home, I'm not holding much hope though.

If it's not sealed they will be getting an angry email.

Yup. Few have.

Simulator man has got the G-Hub from amazon and its been dispatched I also have that ordered and it to has been dispatched. Reviews on the site have been good.

But was it a new replacement? ;)

I'm not convinced the unsealed ones are ones that have already been returned. Mine was not sealed and it's perfect, there is no reason for anybody to send it back that i can see. Maybe they do open it to scan it so it can be paired with your google account, there is a barcode on the rear plastic sheet of the thing...

Mine didn't come with any of my account details, will have to see what the next one is like.

Has anyone got a yellowish tint to one side of the screen? The bottom third of the screen is a lot warmer than the rest. It's not at all noticeable when watching films but is really distracting when browsing; which is what it is used most for. I'm also finding that it locks up and resets on a regular basis.

After going through 3 Nexus 7's before this I'm left wondering whether Google can supply a tablet without a fault. The nightmare known as Google's return process is something I'm not looking forward to.

Sounds like backlight bleed maybe?

I've decided to RMA the one I bought. Just called them and am awaiting an email with instructions.

Here's a quick image of the screen. The top left and bottom right are the noticeable areas in normal lighting.

I have a bit of backlight bleed in the bottom left corner but the rest of the nav bar is still black in a darkened room so I didn't put it down to that. I've had a similar issue with a Galaxy S2 which had the same effect but was much worse. This was actually fixed by flashing a custom rom. It took until the first screen off and back on again to fix the colour so appeared to be a software issue but that was also a Samsung screen.

I've tried to capture the effect below but bare in mind it's a photo taken of the screen by a galaxy nexus camera. Can you see that the words "For Sale" are yellowy compared to the text that follows? Maybe I'm going mad!

Is that full brightness? Doesn't look very bad IMO

I'm suprised how bad everyone is getting backlight bleeding. On full brightness in a dark room, I get a little bit on the top-middle part, but it's not very noticable. I don't even use the tablet on max brightness anyway, I find it too bright :p.
