*** Nexus 10 Tablet ***

I'm having an internal dilemma about the light bleed on mine. Its there but last night I didn't think it was too bad, this evening though watching the timescape 4k trailer the bleed is really evident. I'm sure any replacement I get back is likely to be just as bad though.

I guess most N10 suffer from it. It depends on how bad it is and how much impact it would have on your daily usage. TBH I am waiting for my replacement looking online at the lightbleed issues I am 80% sure it will have similar light bleed, thinking about it now I should have just kept the original.

Is the light bleed something that's affecting this latest batch or do they all suffer from the issue?
From the very first batch, it's not the question of having it it's how bad it is.

Is it possible Google are receiving returns and just shipping them back out to new customers?

A bit suspicious that people are receiving their units with broken seals and fingerprints. Might also explain why the 16gb is in stock but the 32gb isnt, maybe they had a lot of 16gb returns and can now ship them back out again?

Ya mine had a broken seal but no finger prints but someone had a different Gmail id on it :/ so yes it's likely that they are sending RMA units.

Think I'll wait a couple of months for a new batch or two.

Really want one as it would be perfect for me while commuting but I don't want to end up getting replacement after replacement due to back light bleed. Think it may be best to wait until google get it sorted.

I might have back light bleed but I can only see it if I ramp the brightness to max and stand in a dark room. For day to day use I'd not be worried at all and won't be sending it back for that. Its taking a bit of getting used to compared to the iPad but I accepted that when I bought it.

In what way is it taking some getting used to? Is it because the OS is different?

Basically yes I've been using an iPhone or iPad since the iPhone 3G came out. I've just switched to a note 2 as my phone and got the nexus 10 to try and see how I got on with Android on a tablet. I've still got my iPad 3 and will decide in the next couple of days which I'll keep.

My screen seems completely perfect to me. I have played around with brightness and it is always spot on.

Also decided to get that case pictured above, it seems to be well received by everyone who has one. At the end of the day it's one of the cheapest ones I have seen so I don't mind if I end up replacing it at some point.

Got my replacement, Much Much better in terms of lightbleed, had one seal broken and one slightly chipped, Happy with it, Also got the return jiffy bag in the box so the old one is going back.

TNT attmepted to deliver mine yesterday to my workplace at 6.30pm and there was surprisingly nobody there

I don't really notice the light bleed on mine as long as the brightness is below 25%, above that though and it's annoying while watching movies.

If I initiate a replacement, do they send me a replacement and I then send the old one back, or do I send it back and they send the replacement when they receive it?

They send you the replacement first and the you send the faulty one back.
