*** Nexus 10 Tablet ***

If you want to browse fullscreen use AOSP browser with quick controls switched on and GMD hiding the statusbar:

A have a few questions about the Nexus 10 in order of importance:

Will there be a 3/4G version?
What are the storage options beyond the built-in 32Gb?
Is the 3.5mm audio output really so bad (the worst among tablets according to headfi.org) that USB DAC's are needed for highend headphones such as HD650?

Was wondering whether its possible to keep the taskbar at the top and hide the software buttons at the bottom? GMD only has the option to hide both.

Don't think so, GMD and other programs that hide the bars kill the system UI app which contains both.

1. Not heard anything of this, severely doubt it.
2) You can use USB storage with an app to read but not write, you can used read/write after rooting. Though only really useful for media not apps or games.
3) No idea, my IEMs and my Astro A40s sound great through it.

Anyone else having problems with their clock? Mine keeps going out of sync, woke it up this morning and it was running almost 10 mins slow. That was with it set to not use network time, which I told it to do since it had been doing the same thing with network time enabled, so I wanted to see if it was just an issue with that. Anyone else got an issue like this?

Mines done this a couple of times with both network and manual set time, no idea why it does it.

Noticed it last night before I went to bed, but it seemed to have fixed itself in the morning.

Hi guys.

I got the misses a N10 for her bday (2 months ago), she had an iPad 3 before that but she really loves the N10 much more. Mostly cause its lighter, the screen, speakers.

However she has been complaining about a few things. The auto brightness is all over the place, it well just changing without the actual condition changing, I tested this myself and it seems to happen. its not all the time but ever 30 seconds or so it will go up or down.

The wallpaper when you first unlock the phone from sleep seems to just take forever to render, then the first time you change orientation the same things happens again.

Just wondering if anyone else has seen this, and if a custom kernel/rom has helped. Looking to get PA on the N10, she uses that on her phone right now and really likes it.

Ive had mine since launch day and still have no case!

Any recommendation?

I bought a slimline smartcover-esque case. Really like it - doesn't bulk the device out at all. Feels nice in the hand.

Search 'MoKo Ultra Slim Lightweight Smart-shell Stand Case' on Google :)

just ordered, and grabbed a poetic case as well...

ok what would you guys recommend i do out the box, apps/root/ wise?

Congrats :) I have got poetic case as well and it's been going strong.

I personally rooted N10 for Titanium backup etc. Very simple with the N10 toolkit. Apart from that have a few games NFS,Osmos. Dice player is a must if you plan to watch videos local or network.

yeah i will be using for video, so dice player noted!

i guess i should root before i start, does it have a bootloader like a phone? and need to be unlocked first ?

About time too. Looks pretty good but seems quite pricey and very basic.
