I'd wait and see what the official announcement is. So many specs out there yet nobody has mentioned a finger print reader.
It's clear from the renders and leaks it's placed on the back

The circle is obviously where it is housed.Part of the problem sure...but look at Sony, they release a Z5 and a Z5 Compact which is essentially the same spec in terms of internals but the resolution on the Screen is their main difference if we ignore the difference in size.
I just don't see why Google couldn't have taken that approach also.
You then have to consider the fact that the recently announced XIAOMI MI 4C has essentially the same/similar spec as the Nexus 5X coming in at an astounding price point...ok limited to China initially but it's equivalent of approx $250.
What I would LOVE to see from Google, considering the spec, is that they release the 5X at an extremely aggressive price point...I will be interested in their approach and if there are any surprises.
That mint colour I think will sums it up. Everything I've seen looks a bit disappointing for a phone in 2015. If they some how manage to get solid battery life/camera/display then I could excuse then 2GB ram, and base 16GB and only 32GB upgrade that it looks like we will get.
A slow phoneWhat am I looking at?

They say its on par with the galaxy S6 and what I can see is around the same as the Motorola N6.
Not sure what people are expecting with costs less than half the price of a 'flagship' phone. The old nexus 5 was exactly top of its league either.
A slow phone![]()
I think the Nexus line is slowing becoming a pile of KAK

I just have this feeling it really does NEED to be CHEAP!!

It's no where near the S6 though
1000 vs 1207 and 2919 vs 4109.
