*** Nexus 5 THE Official Thread ***

you shouldn't need to buy credit for any sim free phone.

also since it's sim free why would you need credit?

only need to buy credit usually if it's locked therefore cheaper to buy in the first place as the service provider subsidises the costs.

Yeah I thought that BUT when you reserve and collect online it says cash payments will have to buy 20 quid credit. Assume it's just a standard message or they really do mean actual cash notes not card. Will find out when I pop into town in 30 mins I guess!

Cash means cash, something to do with security (rubbish really) card payments don't need extra, they apply this.to PAYG as well.

well the nexus 4 came with a protector on the back so have they changed it for the nexus 5?

seems a bit of a dumb move if they have. how easy is it to mark the back on the white ones?

The N4 back was glass though, I see no reason for them to stick a protector on matt rubber.

How can O2 be charging that price for a Nexus 5 32Gb?

You could get a Sony Z1 or a HTC One or an S4 for less than that. The worst part is people will actually buy it.

Haha - Expansys - the same guys who made me wait A MONTH for a refund on a phone return, forcing me to get my bank involved to get my money back. We'll see if they can be trusted not to muck up deliveries...

yeah I've heard your bad experience with them.. BTW SHIPPED!:D
