*** Nexus 5 THE Official Thread ***

Please for the love of god keep it a 5" device, if Google next flagship is bigger then the Nexus 5 then I don't think I would buy it, get a sensibly sized flagship Android device is getting difficult these days.

i would prefer 5.5" or bigger...

Think I'm sold on the Nexus 5 after having a look around and watching numerous reviews on youtube

Ideally I'd like a 32GB black version, I suppose the bay is the best place along with the forest...

The speed of the device looks fantastic, should be a nice boost from the iPhone 5 I have, will get that on MM and get a Nexus ordered! :)
 
It's in stock on play for £339 + post, I'd buy from them as all the cheaper 5's on EB were from HK or private sellers who won't give you the service Google offer.

EBay not wise for mobiles IMO. Gumtree maybe as you can inist on the paperwork and have an address. Thus phone is not worth risking being had 2nd hand from a unknown source. So easy to sell a phone then do an insurance claim 2 months later.

that's where I got my from last week
great service from google when I had a problems with payment not going though, susan the customer service person I spoke to couldn't have been more helpful and even emailed me to say it was sorted and then asked in another email if I had got the phone ok, so thumbs up from me for the service

I plan to buy new I think via an online outlet

I'd prefer a 32GB but a 16GB will do, I end up filling it with games I never play, just a bit of music and ability to take pics is fine, whens the new software update out everyone is chatting about?

Also after having a play with one in town the other day I'm not sure I'd want a cover/case maybe just a screen protector

I keep mine naked 90% of the time and use a Nillkin flip case from eBay which is around £6 if I go out on the bike or to football... And if I am out on the pop / traveling ect

I find all screen protectors insulting to the look and feel of any smartphone. I guess that's why phone companies don't make them themselves.

All that design on the phone only for someone to stick a cheap bit of plastic on it bah
