Apparently some have to wipe the cache of the movie app for it to show so try that.

You have to get it via the 'play movies and TV' app that should be on your phone. Not the google play store. And then you can also choose to download it.

You need to clear the app data and the cache and then the film shows as a free film. Good find.

Yes, if you are rooted though you can change a file so your phone appears as a N5 for the sake of getting the movie and then change it back..

surely just wait until lollipop is released and then do the standard wiping through TWRP (or similar) you'll get it quicker than OTA i would imagine.

bit annoying i had to download 500mb sdk for a 5mb folder than can run separately but damn rolling back nexus was easier than samsungs

You don't need the SDK. I just have a tiny folder with the ADB tools in it that most places offer.
