anyone know the cheapest place to get replacement glass for this?

my wife had it in the car and as she got out dropped it onto the drive, one single crack straight from mid bottom to top left, in use the scratch isnt visable but from any slight angle its obvious.

so do i replace or get used to the crack? i though about a screen protector to add safety but its in a case and i dont want to risk taking it out incase the pressure of removing the case adds more damage.
 
I've found the crashing to home issue is removed for me by not using the stock launcher, and I've not had any weird issues other than WiFi occasionally refusing to connect until I reboot.
Still not 100% tho by a long shot.
KitKat was brilliant, but going back to it now makes the phone feel a generation older to me at least.
 
Yeah Material Design is great, some of the bugs and crashes not so much.

My battery life is also somehow worse under Android L, not sure why though :(
 
~£50 for the screen and frame from Ebay.

Don't just buy the screen on it's own as it's not worth the extra hassle. Plenty of videos on Youtube to show you how to change it. It's easy.

When my N5 arrives I'm going to root it and stick with Franco kernel with 4.4.4
Will move over to lollipop when all the bugs are ironed out.
 
Picked up my 2nd one of these at Crimbo, for the wife this time.

There seems to be some confusion on the genuine quickcase from LG. I want a white one really. Expansys and the like are selling them for £23.99 but ebay shows Genuine LG Nexus 5 cases for as little as £5.99

Where's the best place to grab one from that is actually legit.?
 
I never realised actually how poor the battery life was on my Nexus 5 - I'd routinely be down to sub-30% on a normal day and with the same sort of use on my new One M8, I'm rarely under 70%!
 
I was getting 2 hours SOC the way I was using this phone. I gave it to my lady with Google now, and some other stuff turned off, she still uses Facebook, Whatsapp, Hangouts and all other Google apps etc but she gets on average every day 5 SOC on this thing now... I'm like WHAT! She's getting peed off with me keep checking her battery stats lol.
I put it back to a stock Google image before handing it over to her when I moved over to the Note 4.
 
I am trying to sideload 5,01 using wugfresh but keep getting stuck at the stock recovery menu because my volume butons stop working so I cant select anything other than reboot.

Anyone else have this? I cant find much on google about it. they work fine for everything else
