*** Nexus 5 THE Official Thread ***

Just tried my works Galaxy Tab S charger and it works well with charging the Nexus 5.
It is a 2A charger. I have another 2.1A charger but that only shows as charging on USB for some reason. Just another option for people if you require a spare.

My replacement N5 on its way, after the WiFi and Bluetooth failed on my original.
Had to use my old HTC desire HD and boy is it slow

pleased with googles customer service
phoned them about the replacement for my broken N5(32gig) about 3pm yesterday and it came this morning at 11, in the box was everything to send my broken one back, so no postage cost.

That phone was the start of the decline of HTC. Bigger and poor quality screen compared to predecessor, and to top it off... Smaller battery. Oh HTC.

Wait there's an OcUK Android app now?

It's was an unofficial app, not available anymore on play store, I have it saved though.
I like it because it doesn't load all the stuff you don't need, just all the threads in there category's

And another year of under whelming phones which have the same old minor and pointless improvements with a crap design, looks like I will be keeping the N5 for a bit longer...

I'm hoping Sony pull a blinded with the z4 as at the moment the only new phone I could realistically want is the Moto X as its getting long in the tooth now.

I cannot see anything replacing my Nexus 5 for quite a while yet. Nexus 6 is just too big and the the likes of HTC, Samsung and et al just don't get the Android updates fast enough. I also don't like bloatware.

I'm still yet to see a nexus 6. I can't see it being too big though. The samsung note isn't as big as it first was when I had a iPhone 4S.

I do hope Google release a device around the N5's size this year. The N6 is way to big.

I actually have been impressed by my mates M8. Never been a HTC person as in my opinion HTC devices are even more skinned than Samsung, but there is some thign about the M8 that draws me.

Will be keeping my Nexus 5 untill this time next year any way so plenty of time.
