oh thank the lord. i sure hope it fixes my gps issues, it was completely useless today never finding where i was and i just ended up using up my battery for a half hour journey as it struggled to do nothing.
 
The redrawing of the home screen is what really annoys me and is hopefully fixed!! Randomly, when switching between screens I see it actually reload widgets and shortcuts. Very annoying as it then feels like a windows PC without enough RAM, until I reboot the device!

sorry was getting confused with the software i had on my nexus 4, and the 4.4.x updates on the n5.

the only thing consistent as you say is the hardware and it was working fine, so surely that disproves what you're saying? the hardware with 4.4 software was great, the hardware with 5.0 software is rubbish. the hardware hasn't changed so can't be that (unless it's developed a fault), so the suggestoin is software
 
I was just about to flash and we had a power cut then 2 more right after. Think I will leave it till the morning. Good timing or what lol
 
Just flashed it. Seems more responsive again. The 'recents' bug has been fixed which was annoying me. Time will tell but it seems smoother again.

I don't think the OTA zip is available yet.
I flashed the factory image and removed the -w from the flashall.bat and all my data and apps were intact. Just make sure you have some space on your phone. I deleted all my pictures and videos as they are on dropbox anyway. :)
 
BTW, are any camera apps that make use of the RAW features yet?

I did try one a while back called camera L iirc but you had to do a lot of tweaking before and after to get good results, which I cba with :p
