It's not uncommon, but I've never had that issue with any USB device (I've had many and I'm careful, but clumsy).

(rant)I've had 3 iPods with wear and tear issues on the headphone jack for example and that's with me being really careful after the first one ****ed up. Apple still don't acknowledge it as a known issue as far as I know(/rant)
 
If i can walk in-store and pick one up before my holiday (2nd September) i'll be very tempted other-wise i'll just make do as i never really used my Xoom.
 
So... Yodel have just scanned it at the Reading service center. I'm actually debating going to collect it as they will NEVER deliver it without fuss.

Plus, I put a sign on the door asking to deliver next door. Any other courier I have dealt with would be fine. To Yodel, that means a "attempted delivery, left card" excuse.

The item has to be signed for at the correct address. ****** have sent them that way.
 
Holy... They have sent a specific instruction saying I have authorised delivery to next door. Lets see if this works...

Need to buy my neighbour a tonne of chocolate as there are about 4 other deliveries haha. She is an angel :D
 
Also, anyone know what's the best method for rooting and unlocking the N7 2013? I root all my android devices. The N7 will need to be rooted pretty much from the get go as I want Whats App on it and also a decent file management app which will no doubt require the device to be unlocked and rooted.

Not sure if its been asked but there seem to be a few on Ebay for £190 with free postage (uk based). Which is £10 below the expected RRP, i'd have thought they'd be sold at a premium due to the demand.

Are these dodgy or is this where people are buying from until PCW get stock in.
 
For peace of mind I'd buy it from somewhere that it's easy and hassle free to return if/when a fault occurs.

My local PCW will sell me one in the morning and they have stock.
