*** Nexus 7 2nd Gen thread ***

Any one have any issue with the update YouTube app?

So far with the updated version I get regular crashes and reboots. I've rolled it back and stopped it from updating which seems to have made things a little more stable. Might have to try rooting and a new ROM.
 
Well yodel got my nexus here no problem this morning but Amazon have let me down for the first time ever so no sign of my case or slim port adaptor :(
 
Well from using it all day, colour me impressed. Feels great in hand, fast and responsive too. Screen is better than I expected it to be and comics look and read fantastic on it. Very happy!

Amazon used to use Yodel hence my acute knowledge of them being dirty liers. The driver tried to use the excuse that the gates were closed once when I was really having a go.....

They employ people who have not figured out how to traverse gates...... You'd think knowing how gates work would be pre requisite for a delivery driver.

We get pretty much every delivery company at our address and Yodel are in the stone ages compared to everyone else. I'd even recommend City Link over them and that's saying something.

just to chime in here about yodel, my local yodel delivery driver is one of the best i have ever met.

he's been here so many times now as well and never let us down once.

the company m and m direct use however are terrible and slow.

They used their Amazon logistics this time and to be fair to them it dropped through the letterbox at half 8 last night.

If you are on a quiet route and they don't have to stray 50 yards from it to get to you door then I can imagine they will be like any other delivery company.

If you aren't expect hell and lies, they really do not care if you get the items you have paid for on time or not.

lol shiny syndrome, will need to remember that one.

I found that most accessories apart from a case just aren't usually worth it. I looked into a tablet mount for the car, but then I thought to myself, when am I actually going to use the tablet for GPS when I have a phone.

No point buying expensive cases either if you upgrade a lot, cheap ones have served me just as well as the expensive ones that i bought in the past.

Yeah, the idea was the get the tablet instead of the upgrade for the SGS2. I'll probably wait for the SGS5 or HTC One Turbo Plus or whatever now. I've been there with car mount, docks etc, often not worth it and the cheap ones are often not fit for purpose. I got the MOFRED one posted above somewhere. Looks really good and less than a tenner. Need it ASAP though as can't take the bloody Nexus 7 out without it!

Love it here. My wife has discovered it and won't stop casting music videos. I'm even streaming from our iPad. Got another arriving for the bedroom tv. :D

have to agree with you, my local driver gave us his mob number for any missed deliveries and drops them off on his way home.

Being using my tablet for a day now and have to say it was worth the upgrade from v1, wireless is so much better now with 5G.

Is anyone having any problems with the playstore & youtube app loosing connection to network? ... takes 2 or 3 attempts to install an app.
