*** Nexus 7 2nd Gen thread ***

Could someone with a 2013 N7 check the App Store and let me know if there is an app called 'The Sun Classic Tablet App for Android'? Thanks :)

Lots of sources confirming that the rollout has started today. Hopefully it won't take long to propagate to us :)
 
My only concern is how many of the apps I use daily are not compatible with 4.4 yet. I may hold off the OTA if it comes and let others be the test dummy's for a few days.

The only issue I've ran into on the N5 with apps and 4.4 is with SMS restoring apps, but that's not going to be an issue on the tablet.

Other than that I've not had any of the apps I use have issues. :)

I've been running 4.4 on my N5 for about 10 days now and haven't come across anything that doesn't run on 4.4
 
KitKat doesn't look right on the nexus after updating. The status and button bars haven't blended with the wallpaper and the fonts are the same.
 
That is right as it stands.

You need to change the launcher to one that allows it, such as the Nova beta or the Nexus 5 launcher.
 
So do Sky GO, BBC iplayer whatsapp etc all work on 4.4 already ? generally every time I have updated previously I have had to wait for the apps to catch up ?
