*** Nexus 7 2nd Gen thread ***

Having bought the Poetic case I found it was the wrong version and had to return it. But the right version turned up today and it really is very good. It does feel a little plastic rather than top end and it doors add some weight to the device (as any case would), Bit covers the nexus almost completely and the magnet to hold the case closed and turn it on/off I'd very good. It also stands upright very well and I suspect the case is probably lighter than most.

I'm still very happy with the nexus and gradually starting to prefer the form factor to the iPad mini. With this device I can hold it in one hand and use the device with the other. That's much harder on the mini.

just name changes, no actual updated code

"Upon further inspection it looks like the only differences between the old and new KRT16O images is the names of the radio and bootloader files. In the old package, they were named wrong but we're still the right actual versions of the files. In the new package, the names have been corrected. So if you flashed before yesterday, you should be fine."

UPDATE
well having read that etc when I got home after work last night I had an update request even though I was already on 4.4
did the update and its changed the build number to KRT16S

My Poetic Slimline (navy blue) just arived too, I don't like the way it feels and think I'll send it back, if not for a different type then for a different colour. Are there any soft touch stands for the N7?
