Anyone know how I get the email app to show links. I used to just click the link in the mail but for some reason now its not a link ?

Edit - Seems you cannot from a quick google. This and it sometimes does not show the mail message has made the tablet pretty useless for me know. Cutting and pasting every link is not really a doable option.

Stupid google...

Just contacted them and they said "We have removed hot linking from non Gmail accounts" WHY.. What a stupid pointless thing to do....

If it actually broke anything they'd say what it broke in a more detailed manner, it just sounds to me like they made it up to protect their servers.
 
Well I've been a sheep and done it!

Firstly I think it's pretty poor but more important what has happened to attachments in emails?????

My wife's sent me some pics and there no attachment but it's there fine on my s3!
 
The ART runtime in 4.4 is absolutely superb. I use whatsapp on my phone, so I can't run it on that but on the nexus 7, the improvement is tangible
 
Just got the notification I had an update so now running on 4.4 :)

Any idea what's changed other then the lock click sound that seems far too loud

I've been using it for around 6 hours now, and apart from the occasional swipe leading to 2 home-screens going past rather than 1, it seems really good.
 
It's the 2013 model, can get 30% off which would bring it to £139.99. Am having a play with one ATM also, hope it's not just me, but the compression on all youtube videos playing on it look awful compared to my GS3

probably due to size of the screen tbh, easier to notice it, also the GS3 uses that type of screen which manipulates colours, etc does it not, making them appear better but messing up the natural aspect of everything.

the official asus professional case is almost identical to the tablet itself and is a very nice case... although it has a habbit of not standing up for too long and eventually falling over when its stood up as its held up with a rubber high friction pad which is annoying :mad:

not cheap though at £30 is what i paid at a competitor

Just went to screen mirror using miracast on mine and the feature has disappeared in 4.4. It used to be in the right hand pull down menu but it's no longer there. I can't find it anywhere, has it been removed in Kitkat does anyone know? my googling has not come up trumps yet with an answer.

Edit, hmm might be here actually >Settings > Device > Display > Wireless display, I haven't got my nexus with me today, will need to check when i get home tonight.
