NFL 2015 Season

One thing I'm seeing this season - so much inconsistency around the entire league.

With the exception of a couple of teams playing well, and a couple playing terrible - most are very up and down.

Makes for an interesting watch those as you never know what's coming - but so many blow outs already - then the losing team goes and hammers another team a week later! lol.

RIP Chicago...brilliant first half, then Jay Cutler decided to go all crazy and it was over.
The rise of the Packers hopefully! We needed a win like that after last week.

The officials though were awful, but I feel all the bad calls evened themselves out by the end of the game.

Any Pats fans think the age of Brady is coming to an end? He doesn't seem to be able conjeur any magic this season, Gronk not as effective as usual and offense looks poor all round - how Amendola as probably 2nd WR get so few pass attempts (3/16 in first 4 games). Secondary was looking ok until this weeks destroying by 3 TE formation of Kansas.

time will tell on Brady....is it him or the offence in general?

What will be interesting to watch is what Belichick does, if he thinks Brady is the problem and really past his prime how long before he is moved on?

I'm not expert enough to judge, but he's only seemingly able to get to Edelman consistently. I expect Belichick is vicious enough to find someone else - he doesn't seem like the type to let someone hang on on reputation alone

I would agree that this is probably his last season, but I still think Brady will be number 1 till the end of the season with Belichick look for a new QB in the off season.

It is too soon for Garoppolo (though he did look decent when he came on). Garoppolo could probably be effective if he were to become starter now, but I think the pressure and expectations involved with a team like the Patriots would hurt him in the long run.

I can't see who they could bring in on a trade?

I've always assumed that Brady would retire a Patriot but do you think he might try and eek out another year at a smaller team?

QBs have trouble letting go.

He also only signed a new contract 18 months ago (3 years still to run), admittedly he signed for less than he is worth (or was worth then) but it would still result in a chunk of dead money if he was cut.

rams quoted as saying their going to stick with davis as starter, and hill saying the decision is "frustrating", think its the right decision as he's done pretty well so far, fingers crossed they give him time as i don't see any positive reason to go with hill.

Got up at 1AM to watch the Vikes-Packers game...

It's the 3rd quarter and the Vikes are currently down 42-0, time to go back to bed methinks.

So many blowouts so far this season. You just don't know which team is going to show up for any given match!!

i think that's one of the best things about NFL though. Its always worth watching (unless its the Raiders :( ) because you never know whats going to happen.

Yes that's true - it can be very back and forth and games/seasons can change very quickly for a team.

It'll be interesting to see some of the unbeaten teams this weekend and see if they can keep their run going

Houston just got a TD with less than a minute left in the game to tie their game with Dallas up at 17-17, overtime should be interesting!

n00b question but what's the deal with games ending before time runs out? Timeouts being used up?

Think you must have seen the OT games. In overtime the game ends when a team scores a TD or both teams have had a possession and one team leads (i.e if a team scores a FG on the first possession the game doesn't end until the other team has a chance)

Nah was watching the Bears game. Game was called and staff came on the pitch with 30 seconds to play.
