NFL 2016 Season

I know its pipe dream stuff but...the Raiders don't look to be the worst team in football anymore :D
we could actually get to 3-1 with a win over the Bears this week...maybe, just maybe we really will be at .500 come the end of the season......

I used to pay Virgin Media £120 a month for internet, phone and TV. Given I have internet and phone for around £50, that's about £70 a month for the TV.

We do online on demand these days, £130 for a season is a much better way to go, with a wide selection of games each week and ad removed replays are great too. Also love 'condensed' games when trying to catch up on matches.

Lots of other great content too, which I don't often get round to watching.

NFL and F1 were the main reasons for the TV package. A Now TV box has us covered for F1 of a weekend if we need for £7.

Well I fell for it. I thought a) Freeman can't do it two weeks running b) Texans have a good D line c) I put Ingram in as Brees is injured... :(

**EDIT** And I've just heard Brees is now starting... bugger...

Anyone here go to the game today? I'm going to Lions-Chiefs in four weeks time, hoping the weather is as nice then as it was today!

I did the same thing, subbed Freeman out just before kick-off for Karlos Williams who managed a respectable (but still far short of Freeman) 13 points... when will I learn not to make last minute changes, it never works? :(

So I'm thinking to myself, no matter what, I'll start Freeman next week. Who's he playing I wonder? Redskins... they're avergaing only 9 points to RB's. Every other opponent after is averaging about 20 a game... do I dare wait another week?

I have Jamaal Charles, Mark Ingram and Deon Lewis. I think I'll try and trade Ingram for a solid WR.

First NFL game at Wembley that I've missed, but like you, only going to the Lions Chiefs game this year.

rams showing how inconsistent they are again with a win against arizona, part of that down to a dodgy decision, but we'll take what we can get.

nice showing for gurley with a 100+ yd game, towards the end of the game showed some decent game management as well, so fingers crossed :D

Keep rolling Bengals :D

I haven't seen us look so good since the Johnson/Johnson/Hous/Palmer days, and then we were hamstrung by a poor D. We look strong all over the pitch, the only concern being our QB flaking out as ever. Looking promising so far though :)

Seattle come to Paul Brown Stadium next week, should tell us a lot about both teams... if Dalton can face an elite defence without looking like a potato then I'll start buying the Bengals' hype.

Really impressed by the Redskins this week. Granted, the Eagles have looked aweful a few times this year, but Cousins had a great game and the play calling and clock management of the final drive was really very good.

Our D has been pretty good over the start of the season, so the high flying Falcons next week will be an interesting test. If we hold them below 30 I'd be happy!

rams up against them packers, best i'm hoping for is for both sides put up a decent show against them and more consistency to come into our game.

looking forward to see how the Defence does against rodgers, and gurley against their offense after a decent game last week.

^Just read that Gurley had more yards in week 4 than all the Rams RBs managed in weeks 1-3 combined!

Unfortunately though I'm starting him in fantasy this week, which usually means his production will drop off to zero :p

As a Raiders fan, I'll be content with a 16-0 season and winning the Superbowl, with all games shutouts and Derek Carr breaking every single QB season record.

Like that's gonna happen  :p

Or you know, a season with more than 4 wins .

Early days yet, I'll be happy with a 9-7 record. Not done that since the heady days of going to SB37.

I want the owner to stop doing what his dad did (as in suing all & sundry) & lobby the City of Oakland to build a new Stadium. That or move back to Los Angeles, I think they would be willing to build one in order to get the Raiders back, after more than 20 years away.

wouldn't be to difficult we seemed to have nothing going apart from austin, and we need him at wr :(

whyyyy you son of a ........... your just lucky hes big enough to be able to carry that weight on his shoulders :D.

outstanding as he was last week hes just come back from an awful injury, so i'm hoping that hes got good people around him to keep him chilled out and he doesnt put to much pressure on himself, cos him and austin are our only real offence at the moment :(.

edit:

well we didn't get slaughtered, and managed a couple of interceptions, unfortunately foles dumped out 4

gurley had another good game, so fingers crossed it continues, all in all not too bad a night, considering the packers have been one of the best 4-5 teams over the past few seasons.

bengals sticking with it

unlucky washington fans :(.

Sky really picked the wrong game to show this week, been watching Redzone instead and there have been some crazy finishes!

Oh, and Andy Dalton is for real!

I think there are a lot of positives you can take from that performance, the Packers don't lose at Lambeau.
